Just some things I've been working on....

My almost 7 year old nephew, Drew.....man I am getting old!

Drew will be seven in just a couple of days and that just makes me feel old! I remember being 7 myself and

it just doesn't seem like it was 20 years ago! I must say I love to take pictures of kids this age.

They are cute,well-behaved and most of all easily bribed! Drew was to attend a birthday

party on the afternoonof his photo session and mom told him the only way he could go was to give

her some good pictures! I love it! He of course did a great job and stayed focused on the goal

(and mom got some pretty good pictures Ido believe!)

Brian and Courtney

These two lovebirds are my brother and sister-in-law. They have been married for about a year

and 1/2 now and haven't had pictures made since their wedding. So when Courtney called

to ask me if I could snap some shots of them, of course I said SURE! The two of them make a

great couple and we had a blast riding around in the golf cart taking pictures! It was a beautiful

day and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Thanks again guys and I hope you enjoy!

 

Julia

This past week I got the chance to see another student outside of school time! Miss Julia and her mom came over on a BEAUTIFUL day and we took some BEAUTIFUL pictures. This girl has got a smile that will knock you down! I had a hard time choosing which pictures to put on the blog! This is surely just a sneak peek, there are soooo many other great ones! Thanks again guys for coming out. We had a blast!

The Darden Boys

Last weekend I had the pleasure of snapping some shots for another wonderful teacher friend. She brought her boys for a nice (what was suppose to be cool weather) fall photo shoot. We can't complain too bad! At least it was 103 degrees like some of this summer's sessions! It is so much fun for me to have the opportunity to work with older kids. They actually stay where you put them and they smile on cue! As much as I love chasing the little ones around, it is a nice change to photograph the olders one too!

The guys were a lot of fun and had some beautiful smiles! Thanks again for coming out and I hope your turnip greens were as yummy as mine!! ;)

I love this shot! The leaves, pumpkins, golden sunshine....FALL!!! My favorite time of year!

King Family Sneak Peek

Sunday afternoon the King Family came over for a very unique photo shoot. The two

in the middle are actually the grandparents of all these youngsters! I know....hard to

believe they are the grandparents huh!?! Baby #5 (Ava from this precious photo shoot) 

is the newest addition to their beautiful family and they wanted to snap a shot with

all the grandkids for a Christmas card. Thanks again guys for coming out! It

was a great way to spend such a beautiful fall day!

The Darbys

This morning's photo shoot was really cool for me and not just because of the 

53 degree weather! These two kiddos have both been students of mine.

Caitlyn was in my class last year and Braxton is a current student. They are both

awesome, well-behaved kids and it was a pleasure getting to see them outside the

classroom! We only had a short time this morning to take pictures because Braxton

had to go rule the soccer field, but I think we were able to get some great shots!
