The Darbys

This morning's photo shoot was really cool for me and not just because of the 

53 degree weather! These two kiddos have both been students of mine.

Caitlyn was in my class last year and Braxton is a current student. They are both

awesome, well-behaved kids and it was a pleasure getting to see them outside the

classroom! We only had a short time this morning to take pictures because Braxton

had to go rule the soccer field, but I think we were able to get some great shots!

Happy Harvest

Fall is FINALLY here! Thank heavens! The weather has been absolutely beautiful this week

and what better way to enjoy the outdoors than to take some pictures! Here are a couple of

my girls enjoying our favorite season...FALL!!

A is for Ava

Precious baby Ava! This was my first official newborn photoshoot and wow

was she a great one! Miss Ava is a wonderful baby with the cutest little feet

ever. It took a while to get the shots, but I sure didn't mind. I got to hold her

and snuggle with her and kiss her sweet little head. We'll just say my husband is

glad I took these pictures and got my baby-fix for a while!

Ava Elizabeth is 6 days old her in these pictures. Isn't she just adorable!

Congrats Mom, she's beautiful!

And even better she's a smart girl.....Roll Tide!!

My aspirations for the business....

From the beginning of my photography "career", I have felt this business would give me the opportunity to share God's word through photography. My goal is to find the perfect verse to describe the "feel" of the photograph. It's fun to pick a picture, then research to find the verse that seems to match it perfectly! God always seems to provide the most amazing verses and it makes the pictures mean so much more! Plus it helps me to learn God's word for myself as well! I hope to be able to do this with every photo session, so be on the look out for these precious photos! Here are just a few I have started with....

Wednesday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing two people in love!  It's so

exciting to be there at the beginnning of a couple's journey to a life together.

Jesse and Jennifer were a blast to work with. Thankfully the rain held off and

we were able to get some great shots of these two love birds. Can't wait for

the beautiful wedding in May. Congrats you guys and thanks for

hanging out with us!

Firsts...

This was a session of firsts for sure. My first maternity shoot and Katie's first baby!

 And oh how cute she is with that first baby bump! We have been friends since

the 3rd grade and I was so excited when I finally convinced her to come have

some pictures made! Katie also has a BEAUTIFUL step-daughter who is

very excited about her new little brother's arrival. We only did a few shots for

this session (just to get one for the invitations), so if I can drag her back out you

will see her again on the blog soon!
